2022 Malbec
New Release!

Have you ever thought of why Argentina is so popular for Malbec? Well, it has everything to do with two things. First is its quality. But it is a result of this grape’s suitability to higher elevation, its dry arid climate, mountainous and snow-capped peaks, and its annual growing-degree-days (GDD units) accumulation of 1800. Does this sound familiar? A lot like our Similkameen Valley.
Our Malbec is the prettiest of our reds. The one bottle that could pull off a “man purse” in the portfolio. It carries all the medium bodied red wine stereotypes, but the tannins of this fair skinned grape keep the wine elegant. Floral notes on the nose introduce mulberry, blueberry and wild sage on the palate. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
Cellar 2-7. Drinking for well now and surely won’t be available long with a mere 220 cases produced.
