This ultra rich Viognier is so varietally true and is a great expression of how unique Similkameen terroir is. The nose of this wine is a ripe peach and apricot frenzy. Although bone dry, the palate is super rich and creamy, with flavours of candied ginger and marmalade. Delicious!
Fermented and aged in one premium French oak Foudre, Sur Lie, for 9 months. Harvested by hand, unfiltered and unfined.
Food Pairing Notes
Roast chicken is wonderful with this Viognier, however it would do well with a variety of seafood as well. We'd say it pairs best with spicy Asian style foods.
