A delightful combination featuring 57% Cabernet Franc sourced from Osoyoos in the Okanagan Valley, BC, and 43% Merlot from Liefland Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, BC. This wine is carefully crafted using partial whole berry fermentation to enhance fruit quality. A lot going on here behind the scenes. Aged elegantly in 24% new French oak barrels, this wine delivers a wonderful balance of flavors. On the nose, you’ll be greeted by enticing aromas of black cherry, cedar, and savory sage. The palate reveals baked cherry, blueberry, rich espresso, and a touch of cigar box, culminating in a long finish that maintains a delightful freshness. Overall, this bold yet approachable wine is crafted for enjoyment now, while also being capable of aging beautifully for up to 8 years.
